The kit includes a deep recessed LED engine, a new construction housing designed for insulated and non-insulated ceilings, and a white reflector with attached white trim ring. The unit consumes only 10.5 watts, reducing electric bills and heat build-up. LEDs last much longer than incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. The deep recess means the light source is hardly visible from the sides, reducing glare. The engine produces 515 lumens with a CRI of 94, while the housing has adjustable hanging rail brackets and an integrated junction box.
